Reactor replaced

At Synthomer GmbH’s Langelsheim plant, a decommissioned 40-ton reactor was replaced with a new, more powerful reactor.

For the production of synthetic latex and water-based dispersions, an aging chemical reactor had to be replaced with a modern reactor.

To do this, we dismantled the necessary steel structure within the production plant so that the 40-ton container reactor could be lifted out over the roof with a 300-ton crane.

After dismantling the old reactor, we lifted the new reactor over the roof and positioned it in the system with millimeter precision. The new, modified steel structure of the stage system was then reinstalled.
